Digital Settler Colonialism: a Book Talk with Dr. Omar Zahzah

On February 25, 2026, Assistant Professor of AMED Studies, Dr. Omar Zahzah, presented his concept of "digital settler colonialism," and discussed how Palestinians and their allies continue to resist the colonial weaponization of the digital space. The discussion also included how the legacy and digital media domination by elite powers relates to the question of Palestinian liberation.
