Rosio (Xio) Almageur

Xio Almaguer is a land steward, lecturer, and urban planner residing in the Bay Area, California. Their work centers land, community engagement, and healing. Their purpose is to expand our society’s understanding of what’s possible and facilitate the expansion of Love-centered built environments. Their current work at UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR) focuses on equipping justice impacted and under resourced youth with skills and knowledge to steward public land. Xio is also a part-time lecturer at San Francisco State University where they teach Decolonize Your Diet, a course offered in the Race and Resistance Studies department.
