A cinematic tale of Algeria's victorious war against colonialism, the film, "The Battle of Algiers," exemplifies how art can be in service to anti-imperialist movements.

Reflecting on the film's message, aesthetics, and production, Dr. Fatima Zahrae Chrifi Alaoui (Communications Studies), Dr. Blanca Missé (French Languages) and Dr. Baligh Ben Taleb (American Indian Studies) will draw connections to 21st century struggles against settler colonialism.

Food will be served.
