A social scientist displaying strong research, analytical, writing, qualitative, organizational, data management, and interpersonal skills. I thrive in culturally rich environments, having lived and studied in several countries during my military service and as a scholar. My professional background includes over a decade of experience in interdisciplinary academic research. Originally a Copt from Alexandria, Egypt moved to the U.S. with my family in search of better opportunities. I hold a Bachelor's with honors in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master's in Teaching from the University of Southern California, and in the processes of completing my Ph.D. in Psychology. My lived experience and education fuel my passion for social justice within the nexus of various racial, cultural, and ethnic issues that drive different community members' self-concept and push me to advocate for the transformative power of education of self and society.
